Aruba
Caribbean
Aruba is the one Dutch Caribbean island where even European Dutch nationals need a permit, one year at a time for five years before admission by right kicks in. There is a real Digital Nomad permit at USD 5,000 a month and no inheritance or gift tax since 2018, but the offshore era is over and for a solo online business the total burden is no saving versus the Netherlands.
